The CSIXLI will be held in parallel with the first Latin-American Meeting on Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LAMLIBS). Typically, the CSI has a laser spectroscopies session (including LIBS), but in this edition part of that session will correspond to the LAMLIBS.
The programme will consist of plenary lectures (45 min including discussion), given by distinguished scientists, on different fields of spectroscopy. These lectures will be held in common sessions between CSIXLI and LAMLIBS.
Parallel sessions will take place in five rooms in the conference venue. Each session will have an invited talk and a keynote lecture, both of 30 minutes including discussion, and oral presentations of 15 min (including discussion). The posters will be presented in three sessions during the afternoons.
The topics of the sessions are listed below:
1. Archaeometry and Cultural Heritage
2. Atomic and Plasma Spectrometries (AAS, AFS, ICP OES, ICP-MS, GD, etc.)
3. Biological and Biochemical Applications
4. Clinical and Pharmaceutical Applications
6. Environmental and Geological Analysis
9. Hyphenated Techniques, speciation analysis and metallomics
12. Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LAM-LIBS)
15. Metrology and Spectroscopy
16. Nanotechnology
17. Molecular Spectrometry (UV-Vis, Raman, NMR, IR, etc.)
19. Organic and inorganic Mass Spectrometry
20. Photoacoustic Spectroscopy
21. X-ray spectrometry (XRF, XRD, XANES, etc.)
